Puukko

Puukko is a traditional Finnish utility knife. The blade of puukko has "Scandi grind", which means the blade bevel is straight and has almost no second bevel. This makes the blade especially suited for wood carving and other demanding tasks. My puukko blades are usually made of had forged, zone tempered mixed carbon steel (most often 80CrV2) or of stainless powder steel (usually RWL 34).
My typical puukko models have a leather sheath, with the lower part made usually of the same wood as the puukko handle, with a ferrule between the wood and the leather to strengthen the joint. The wooden part has not been cut to halves, but the notch for the blade has been drilled and ground to shape, which makes the structure stronger and visually more pleasing. The design is my own and, at least to my knowledge, can't be found in knives of any other maker.
